Dariusz Kotała – traveller, explorer and endurance athlete. Aged 49. A graduate of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (engineering degree). Creator of the Boat Bike And Me project and author of extreme expeditions carried out solely by muscle power.
He combines an engineer’s approach to planning and logistics with extensive expedition experience (including a round-the-world cycling journey and rowing on the Baltic Sea), mental resilience and persistence in pursuing long-term goals.
His projects have a sporting, social and environmental dimension – promoting an active lifestyle, responsibility for the natural environment and the courage to pursue one’s dreams.
Connected with sport both personally and professionally – a football and tennis coach. Interests: sport, a healthy lifestyle, football and tennis. He is actively involved in educational activities, meetings with young people and initiatives that promote positive values.
