About the project
Boat Bike and Me is the first challenge in history to row and cycle all the way around the globe powered solely by human muscle – by bike on land and by oars across the oceans. No engine, no motorised support.
About me – Dariusz Kotała
Athlete, traveller and Atlantic record-holder. Member of the Rower i Wiosło Sports Club. Behind me lie thousands of kilometres of cycling trails and two solo rowing crossings of the Atlantic. Now it is time for the whole world.
The boat – Złotoryjanka
Złotoryjanka is a legendary rowing boat with a history of Atlantic world records. Built specifically for extreme ocean conditions, it will now become part of the round-the-world challenge.
Mission
To push beyond the limits of human ability. To prove that with willpower and muscle any barrier can be overcome. Every kilometre of this expedition is proof that dreams are worth pursuing, whatever the cost.
